I grew up a city kid born in Queens New York. My family moved “Upstate” as they said back in 1972, to a small town in Westchester County NY. I got exposed to the outdoors by joining the local Boy Scout Troop there. I wasn’t a model Scout though and only made it to First Class.

Mr. Tony is passionate working with outdoor brands, including Small to Medium size companies, startups, and established smaller brands that often do not have an internal Sourcing Department and do not have experience sourcing and developing product in the Far East.
Mr. Tony can help Companies who do not have the experience in the material supply chain and the complexities navigating best class materials and compliance.
Work History and Experience:
During my 33 Year career of in the field of Product development and Sourcing Outdoor Equipment, I held positions in Product Development Management, and Sourcing Management at Eastern MT. Sports for 26 years. Both positions were focused on managed of product development and sourcing of EMS Equipment which included Packs, Luggage, Sleeping Bags, Tents and outdoor furniture and accessories.
In my last 5 Years at EMS I was responsible for all Global Manufacturing. In that role I managed 30-40 Finished Goods Manufacturers Globally. USA-Asia-Central America-South America-Turkey-Middle East. In that role I managed Vendor Relations, Quality Assurance, Product Compliance and all aspects of Social Compliance.
In September 2014, I took a position at Big Agnes in Steamboat Springs as the Director of Sourcing. I managed the Sourcing Team, and was responsible for Sourcing all our finished goods suppliers, material & component suppliers and raw material components. My position at Big Agnes had the responsibility for managing Product Compliance, Material & Component Compliance, Quality Assurance, and Sustainability.
I have a total of 33 Years of experience traveling to the Far East working with Outdoor Technical Gear Manufacturers, including Factories, Fabric Mills, Fabric Finishers, Insulation & Raw Material suppliers, Injection Molded Component Manufacturers, foam suppliers, webbing and trim suppliers.
Extensive knowledge of the Outdoor Technical Gear Supply Chain.
